CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Your Management Words of Wisdom Competition

  1. Instructions on how to enter and how to claim prizes form part of these conditions.
  2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates & agencies associated with the promotion (& their immediate families) are ineligible. CBS Interactive Australia will run one promotion starting 1 May 2008 and finishing 31 May 2008, AEST 5.00pm.  CBS Interactive Australia editors will select two winners.  All state, territory, local laws and regulations apply.
  3. Promoter is CBS Interactive of Level 12, 50 Goulburn Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000, Australia.
  4. Competition commences 1 May 2008 and finishes 31 May 2008, AEST 5.00pm.
  5. To enter the competition readers of BNET Australia must (1) post their entry on the BNET Aussie Rules Blog and (2) email their details to CBS Interactive Australia via competitions-au@bnet.com.au
  6. Competition mechanic: using the blog post on BNET Aussie Rules, entrants must submit their best piece of managerial advice in 140 characters or less.
  7. The authors of the most creative and/or insightful response for the competition, as judged by editors from CBS Interactive Australia, will be deemed the winners. Prizes will be awarded as outlined below.  
  8. The judging will take place at the Promoters office, Level 12, 50 Goulburn Street on June 1, 2008.
  9. The winner will be notified by email or contact number by June 20, 2008.
  10. The authors of the most creative and/or insightful responses for the competition, as judged by editors from CBS Interactive Australia, will be deemed the winners.  This competition is a game of skill. The total (4 wine packahes) retail value of the prize package is AU$485 including GST.
  11. Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of this promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The winners for this competition will be notified immediately using the contact details emailed to CBS Interactive Australia.  If the promoter receives no or incorrect email details the promoter will conduct redraw of the prize at the original place designated for the competition and a new winner will be drawn and notified. If the Promoter receives no response from the winner within 7 days of notification the Promoter will conduct a redraw of the prize at the original place designated for the competition and a new winner will be drawn and notified. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.
  13. Entry into this promotion shall be deemed an acknowledgment and acceptance of these conditions. Promoter accepts no responsibility for illegible, damaged, late or misdirected entries/claims for any reason. Proof of posting online shall not constitute proof of delivery. Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of this promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of claims and entries and disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, or for submitting a claim or entry that is not in accordance with these conditions.
  15. Promoter shall not be liable for, and takes no responsibility in relation to, any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  16. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions from the SA Lottery Department, Revenue SA) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to an written directions or conditions from any other relevant state or authority.
  17. If personal information requested on the entry/claim is not provided, the entrant will not be eligible to participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant agrees to the information provided on the label being entered into a database and agrees that Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. All entries become the property of Promoter. All personal details of entrants will be stored at Promoter's head office. A request to access, update, correct or remove any information should be directed to Promoter at its address in 3, above. A copy of Promoter's Privacy Policy in relation to the treatment of personal information collected may be accessed at www.cbsinteractive.com.au.
  18. Insurance and warranty for the products will be the responsibility of the vendor suppliers of the prize.  Warranty details for each of the components of the prize will be provided with the prize.
